Chuck Babilla began his career as a roofer working for local roofing contractors. He founded Babilla Roofing in 1986 and remains hands-on in every aspect of the business, estimating roofing jobs for both roofing systems and architectural sheet metal projects.

Chuck sits on the Apprentice Board of our local roofing association as well as the SMCNA Sheet Metal Association in addition to his demanding duties as Babilla Roofing President.

Fred Kauffmann joined Babilla Roofing in 2002, and has over 25 years experience in the roofing industry. He estimates jobs for roofing systems and architectural sheet metal projects in addition to long and short-term project management.

Fred is involved in the daily and ongoing safety responsibilities at Babilla Roofing, and is a past President of the Northwest Indiana Roofing Contractors Association (NWIRCA).

Kathleen joined the Babilla Roofing team in 2011. Kathleen is in charge of accounting and bookkeeping as well as the general management of the company payroll, financial, and bank transactions.

James Carter has been with Babilla Roofing since 1989. As a foreman, James worked with every roofing product that Babilla Roofing handles. He brings hands-on experience with a common sense knowledge to the younger generation of employees in the field.

In 2004, James was moved to his present position as Field Superindent and in the ensuing time has additionally become involved in project management, daily and long-term scheduling of all roofers, and managing the daily crews.
